(i)NSD Layouts

On International Scrapbooking Day this month i was adventuring around London so i ended up having a creative scrappy day on the Sunday instead. The first layout i created was for a challenge in one of my Facebook groups to use 6x6 papers.

i'd just purchased a new 6x6 paper pad from Simple Stories so i went ahead and used that. The only other things used on this page were a sticker and some alphabet stamps for the title.

i also participated in a kit challenge that was being hosted by my friend Jaimie for the Simple Scrapper members. She gave us a recipe of what to put in our kits. Here is mine:

i managed to get a real mix of old and new products. Ideally i wanted to get 3 layouts competed but didn't manage it. i still have the kit grouped together though so could  still get a couple more layouts out of it. Jaimie also challenged us to make some embellishment clusters from the contents of our kits, one of which i used on the below layout. This is something i'm not great at so it was good to push myself and it's something i'd try again.

The next layout uses a really reeaalllly old paper from Making Memories. It felt so god to use it up and you know, I don't think it looks outdated at all. i know i shouldn't advocate hoarding, but sometimes it's worth holding on to stash for the perfect project!

It felt good to put my own kit together and use up some older stash that had been left unloved for a while.
